The owners of this building were a family who wanted to renovate an older building that was out of date. The owners were passionate about the classical style of the building, and in particular wanted a building with a mansard roof. The existing building was a double pitched building with a pitched roof, which had limited space at the base of the pitch and the layout no longer supported the family’s needs. We opted for a classic black and white combination with a mansard roof. We corrected the spatial layout of the building and gave it a new breath and a functional layout. We solved the architectural design and provided the structural design.
