A private building and an outbuilding were settled with a residential complex in Kili. The volumes of the two buildings are in dialogue with each other and the façade solutions are matched to form a complete solution. The main plan of the residential building is simple but spacious with a glazed summer terrace extending onto a terrace. The outbuilding has been designed as the owner’s hobby room and a pleasant recreation area. The outbuilding houses a sauna complex, a garage-disco room as well as an outdoor kitchen and an indoor seating area.
The facades of the building are made of a calm, darker coloured stained pine board combined with light clinker brick. The window frames, roof and other details are in black to enhance the calm rhythm of the façade.
